MOONEYES CHRISTMAS PARTY 2010 Irwindale California

Here are some pic's I took at this years show. I spent a good portion of the day with the Roth gang at the Rat Fink booth havin' a grand ol' time as usual. So heres what I did get around to see.

I love these old school bikes, foriegn or domestic. Just Cool!!!

This is just of one of the OUTRAGIOUS creations from SLIM'S FABRICATIONS.This kat has a WILD imagination from 2 wheels to 4 wheels he has made some CRAZY stuff!

These ol' Rail's are my favorite! They remind me of the stuff that ran when I was a kid. I couldn't get enough of them. They have some real style and look fast just sittin' still.

I've always liked stuff nobody else has. To me thats what make stuff cool. This ol' truck has been sliced and diced and with this wild paint job, makes it a one of a kind. It's got lot's of cool little details everywhere.

Then as the afternoon comes so does the artist auction. This is a piece that was done by MOONEYES resident painter ISHI the WILDMAN. He always has some cool piece's to auction off. And of course its on a MOON disc! Imagine that!

Just one of the auction pieces. You coulda had this for only
$50.00. A sign of the times. Everything was a Scream'n deal.

Whats neat about these artist auctions is that these guys have some great imagination both with design and subject matter. Dont let the neighbors catch you removing these from their palms!!!!

This jewel is one of my two favorite pieces. It had gold leaf, striping and some fantastic artwork. Ilene Roth was the high bidder on this piece. Poor guy she kept outbidding. SOLD!!!

Here he is in action MOONEYES ISHI the WILDMAN.

Here is my 2nd favorite piece in the works. It's one of Mitch's " PIG FINK'S "! There are a few of these things out there that he's done and each one is different and WAY COOL!!!

Here's "COOP" puttin' the finishing touches on the FINK OYL bottle he did for Ilene Roth. Another very cool piece.

Here are some cool pieces from the always present
''JIMMY C"

These gems are from non other than '' The PIZZ ". Very nice.

Something from the Coast Air Brush booth. Look's like a take home piece from a recent " Brush Off ". Eye candy galore!!!

Here's one for the Kiddie's!!!

Another nice piece!

This guy might need twice the tires!

I didn't see this little truck until I was hittin' the road. This was one of two cars from the guys at Kal Concept's and Air Syndicate. These two cars are from the creative minds of Craig Fraser and his partner Dion and their gang of very talented guys. The full feature on the build of this little truck is in Craig's new book. Check it out, it's really cool!!!

That's it for this years show.  Merry Christmas to all!!!

Chad Norman The Monster Man

On my travels to different car shows and art shows I've met lots
of cool people. And at the top of the list is my buddy Chad Norman.
I met Chad, or Norman as he goes by, at this years Rat Fink Reunion
at the Roth pad in manti Utah. I cant remember when I've had such
a good time just hangin' out with someone. And his wife Ali is his perfect match. Norman also just happens to be one of the best Monster airbrush painters I have ever seen. He has this really cool style and if you just happen to be lucky enough, you just might catch him doing one of his famous plain white T-shirt's. He emailed me this framed picture titled Mind 2 and I just had to show some of his work. Enjoy the crazy monsters from the Monster man, Norman.
To get a hold of a monster of you own you can get a hold of him @
c.norman@mail.com and also on facebook.

He even does a bang up job with some 1-Shot and a good ol'
paint brush!

Check out this little "Rat Fink", or "Bomb Fink" as I call him.
You can actually ride this thing! A little Briggs & Straton hidden inside the bomb powers the bomb down the road.
WAY COOL!!!

I'm not sure which one is the Alien?

And here it is,
the "MonsterPiece" - "Mind 2"
Now that's some fine art!!!
